Ce projet s'inscrit dans la réflexion de l'artiste autour de l'écriture du vent, non seulement comme phénomène naturel, mais aussi comme langage perceptible. Il s'agit de traduire le vent dans la matière, d'enregistrer ses mouvements sur les plaques de cuivre. Le but est de créer une interaction entre la nature et la sculpture, où les forces naturelles deviennent des éléments actifs dans le processus artistique.
The artwork
This project is part of the artist's reflection on the writing of the wind, not only as a natural phenomenon but also as a perceptible language. It is about translating the wind into material, recording its movements on copper plates. The aim is to create an interaction between nature and sculpture, where natural forces become active elements in the artistic process.
01L'artiste - Farid Kati
La pratique de Farid KATI est profondément enracinée dans l'exploration des forces énergétiques et de la mémoire du vent. Il cherche à donner vie à une relecture du monde qui nous entoure, en capturant le mouvement et l'empreinte délicate du vent. Il qualifie les traces laissées par ces mouvements d'adugraphies, un néologisme formé en associant le mot berbère "adu" qui signifie vent, avec le concept de graphie.
The artist - Farid Kati
Farid KATI's practice is deeply rooted in exploring the energetic forces and memory of the wind. He seeks to bring to life a reinterpretation of the world around us by capturing the movement and delicate imprint of the wind. He describes the traces left by these movements as "adugraphies," a neologism combining the Berber word "adu" meaning wind, with the concept of graphic representation.
